PSV boss Motta excited about fresh challenge

New PSV coach Renato Motta has revealed he is relishing the challenge of guiding the Dutch champions back to the top of the Eredivisie and into the Champions League.

The Italian coach was appointed as Ruud van Nistelrooy's successor last month after the former Manchester United striker left to take over at Old Trafford.

Motta, who has previously coached Inter Milan and Chelsea, said he is confident he can bring success back to PSV.

Motta urges Vlahovic to accept criticism

Motta has also urged Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic to accept criticism of his performances.

The Serbian striker has been in poor form since joining Juve from Fiorentina in January, scoring just one goal in his last 10 appearances.

Motta said Vlahovic needs to "be more clinical in front of goal" and "work harder for the team".
